Bun2Bun’s vision is to turn the fast food industry on its head

We create great burgers that uplift the planet and its living beings. Through innovation, curiosity, empathy and partnerships we are fast becoming the most sustainable fast food chain in the world, and showing others what’s possible.

We mean what we say and we show this with actions. We commit to leave the planet in better conditions than we found it.

We plan to succeed. We define what success looks like, what steps are needed to get us there, and monitor feedback if it’s not working and we need to change direction.

No more palm oil

Palm oil contributes to environmental damage, inequality and labour exploitation. We work together with out suppliers to source more sustainable alternatives.

We create conversation and invite engagement around our values and our food. We want our customers to share our beliefs and be a part of our journey. 

Define our Priorities

We define our priorities, so we know which values are prioritised when sourcing products. Some of the competing values are health, seasonality, carbon footprint, waste and wages.

Fat has been given a bad rap. We think that’s outdated thinking. Fat improves metabolism, makes you feel good and is healthy, so long as it’s from healthy sources.

swap out the soy.

Soya is not very good for the environment. It also can be problematic for our health. So we are constantly looking for ways to create great food with less soy, or source it from organic European farms.

We want to create our own patty that is more sustainable, locally created, healthier and just as delicious.

In nature there is no waste. We want to get to the point where there is no waste, only resources that are returned back into the cycle.

We want to be in people’s lives and in their homes. What better way than to be a full-of-flavour condiment in their cupboard or a meat-free burger waiting to be cooked?
